Kirwan Heights is an accredited Continuing Education (Con-Ed) Sponsor through the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Our current CTC, or Training Center, is Tri-Community South EMS. We provide Con-Ed for any person who is in need.

If you are looking for con-ed, we recommend checking the regional list at www.emsce.org. Shift Training Program Our staff participates in an ongoing "shift training program", which focuses on a specific skill or topic each week. Past topics have included CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens, Pediatric Assessment, Nasal Medication Administration & EZ-IO, and more. The shift training program is a conscious effort to keep our employees and volunteers at peak performance and prevent skill decay. Public Con-Ed KHFD offers continuing education to the public safety community. Several of our employees are PA State Fire and EMS instructors, and are able to conduct a number of courses. There are currently no public continuing education courses available. |
