The following documents has been added here for your convenience. Please download each. The Firefighter I application MUST be completed and sent to Kirwan Heights Fire Department via the mail or email. This will reserve a spot for you for the Prep Class.

Pre-requisite class certifications can be turned in during the 2nd night of class with your full payment.
Completed packets can been emailed to njackson@kirwanfire.com or tmcdonald@kirwanfire.com.
Completed packets can also be mailed to: Kirwan Heights Fire Department, Attn: Firefighter I Prep, 1200 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
DO NOT send checks with your packet.

Class Schedule

Pre-Requisites
We are currently scheduling:
• Heathcare Provider CPR / AED / First Aid
• HazMat Operations Level class. WILL NOT BE 2ND DAY OF CLASS. Scheduling is in process.
Additional class days will be added to the Firefighter I Prep Class once these classes are scheduled.
Due to time constraints, a Structure Burn Session or Essentials of Firefighter Modules I, II, III, IV will not be scheduled prior to the start of the prep class.
Firefighter I ProBoard exams WILL NOT be scheduled until all paperwork (i.e., pre-requisites, student payments, etc.) are received.
Payments
Two checks are required for completion of Firefighter I. Check 1 in the amount of $120.00 made out to "CCAC". Check 2 in the amount of $7.50 made out to "Allegheny County", for proboard paperwork filing. Each student is required to submit the 2 checks from their department or personal checking account. Student's name MUST appear on the check.
Full payment will be accepted during the 2nd class.
All requirements must be satisfied. No exceptions!
