CPR
Kirwan Heights employs a number of American Heart Association instructors and regularly offers CPR classes to the community. If you are in need of a CPR class, please check below for scheduled classes. If there are no scheduled classes, we do offer one-on-one or small group instruction, but you must pre-register.
We also do classes for groups, at our location or yours. Please contact us to discuss group pricing and availability.

Classes Offered
Heartsaver CPR in Schools |
This course is designed specifically for high-school students and teenagers. Topics include Adult CPR and choking, Adult/Child AED, and infant CPR and choking. Duration: 3-4 hours This is a credentialed course, which means that the students will receive a CPR card. For group pricing, please contact us. |

Family & Friends CPR |
This course covers CPR only, and is designed for people who want to learn CPR but do not require a CPR card. Duration: 1.25 hours |

Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens |
This class is designed specifically to meet the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens standard for employees who must be trained annually in bloodborne pathogens. Students receive a certificate of participation. Duration: 1.5 hours |

Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED |
This class covers adult basic first aid, adult/child CPR and AED, and is designed for people who may need to respond to an emergency in the workplace due to job position or regulatory requirements. Duration: 6.5-7.5 hours Students will receive a course completion card for this course. |

Heartsaver First Aid |
This class covers adult basic first aid (and environmental emergencies, optional) and is designed for people who may need to respond to an emergency in the workplace due to job position or regulatory requirements. Duration: 3.5 hours Students will receive a course completion card for this course. |

Heartsaver CPR |
This class covers adult/child CPR and choking. This class is designed for people who may need to respond to an emergency in the workplace due to job position or regulatory requirements. Duration: 2-3 hours Students will receive a course completion card for this course. |

Heartsaver AED |
This class includes Heartsaver CPR, as well as adult/child AED. This class is designed for people who may need to respond to an emergency in the workplace due to job position or regulatory requirements. Duration: 2.5-3.5 hours Students will receive a course completion card for this course. |

BLS for Healthcare Providers |
This course covers adult/child/infant CPR, choking and AED, as well as two-rescuer scenarios and bag-valve-mask (BVM) ventilation. This course is designed for healthcare providers. Duration: 4.5-5 hours Students will receive a course completion card for this course. |
