Fire Prevention
Throughout the year members of Kirwan Heights Fire Department host many different groups in our building, at schools, or their jobs locations to promote Fire Prevention. We put a variety of different Fire Prevention programs that are job specific; meaning that these programs are tailored to the environment each group with be in. Examples include fire extinguisher training for local businesses, practicing fire drills with local pre-schools or day care centers, showing off the various types of equipment that we use during emergency calls, etc.
